CHRONOS TEST PLAN
As part of my studies, I was part of a team of students tasked with creating a Usability Test Plan for another group of students game. Chronos was created by a group of students that were about to graduate. This was their graduation showcase and our goal was to help them perfect it.
The testing was focused on the player controls, interaction with the environment, and function of the game's mechanics. These areas were deemed most important by the testing team because they are not only the core of the game-play, but also the key to player immersion.
For this test, we chose to use five casual gamers. These players need to be comfortable operating a mouse and keyboard controls but not be a player that plays or competes regularly or professionally.
