ANALOG GAMES
Enceladus Rising
This game was created with a group of my peers during my studies at Full Sail University. Our inspiration came from the recent discover of the global ocean under the crust of one of Saturn's moons. We strove to combine basic player versus player combat, resource management and collection, and player versus environment interactions all into one game. After four different iterations, we finally had a worthy combination.
Back Story
On September 16, Earth Year 2015 the Federation of Space Charting (FSC) discovered a warm global ocean under the crust of Enceladus, Saturn’s sixth largest moon. Elements found in this ocean are considered extremely valuable and could possible support living organisms. FSC is now offering a large sum of money to the research company and hired pilot that return with the highest amount of fieldwork items discovered after exploring the ocean of Enceladus.
Prototype
A complete prototype of the current version of the game can be downloaded below. It contains a complete rule book for the game as well as all of the printable elements of the game. You will need a Hexagonal Grid Game-board, a set of 25 items that are the same shape and color to represent the Research Nodes, a set of 20 items that are the same shape and color to represent the Obstacle Tokens, and a set of percentage dice.

Haste Wars

Haste Wars was created as a potential game idea by myself, Jesus Acevedo, Sandra Barajas, Dakota Brower, and Mario Arrieta Crespo over the course of a month.
This idea was generated as part of a course where we were given minimal mechanics to choose from and then required to remove a selected mechanic and replace it with another. The game was original designed as a digital game. That version of the game can be reviewed HERE.

In addition, we were required to convert the digital version of the game into an analog game.

Description
Haste Wars in a turn-based strategy game where players complete various actions to improve their score. The best way to do this is by collecting the gold stashed across the map and defeating your opponent's units. Unlike most strategy games, players will only have a short amount of time to decide and execute their moves.
